Ilú

The boldly unique line-up does not use chordal instruments, but places a strong emphasis on the rhythm section, a prominent element of their native country's musical culture, and on melodies that recall the profane and spiritual ceremonial songs of their ancestors. They make music together with the aim of culminating the experience of exploration and experimentation, while celebrating their diverse musical roots in modern forms. Ilú will visit the Opus Jazz Club stage as the first runner-up in the 2022 Krakow Jazz Juniors International Competition.
