Schedule

Odonis Odonis (CA)

Odonis Odonis has proven time and again that they don't care about the same thing twice. Since their formation, the Toronto duo, made up of Constantin Tzenos Denholm Whale, have released five full albums and played countless shows and festivals across North America and Europe while following their musical instincts. Over the past eleven years they have adventured with great excitement in a variety of genres including post-punk, EBM, industrial, shoegaze, pop, and surf rock.

During their subsequent evolution, Odonis Odonis moved away from the maelstrom of the traditional music industry with its untenable physical and psychological demands to focus strictly on meaningful creative endeavours. These include releasing music, producing and mastering albums at Tzenos' new After Hours studio, and organising countless professionally executed events through Whale's co-owned Transmit Present. These projects were consciously chosen with the aim of working with people they respect and admire.

Choke Chain (US)

Choke Chain is Mark Trueman's solo project, drawing on elements of industrial, EBM, dark electro, goth and punk. The project creates ominous and punishing soundscapes that never cease in intensity.

Living Totem

LivingTotem A knitted improvisational musical stylistic exercise that crosses formal and linguistic boundaries, a dark blend of tribal rhythms and industrial beats. He has performed at BIMFEST in Antwerp, was part of the last legendary SCHLAGSTROM! FESTIVAL, remixed for Test Dept, and his last two albums have been released by the justly famous and best known in the industrial circles, German "ant-zen audio & visual arts".

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
