Schedule

Adrienn Hód will be one of the guests of Zoltán Grecsó, who has been leading her own company, HODWORKS, known and respected throughout Europe for more than 15 years.

Their choreographic style is based on strict structures, but usually with a strong emphasis on improvisation.

What is particularly special about Adrienn's acceptance of our invitation is that it will allow us to see a performance excerpt from a very long-running fusion that she has created with members of the ArtMan Movement Arts Association.

Thanks to this joint creation, Adrienn Hód and ArtMan open the way for disabled and able-bodied people to develop and discover themselves.

We will also host artists from the oldest dance theatre in Hungary, KET, or Central European Dance Theatre.

Progressive. Stylish. Contemporary. These three words describe one of Hungary's most innovative dance companies. The pieces in its unique repertoire strive to be topical and reflective. The KET, as its name suggests, is committed to a specific geographical region, the Carpathian Basin and its region determining not only the main area of its operations, but also the unique world of movement and choice of themes.

The music will be represented this time by Rozi Mákó, who in her music mostly relies on systematic improvisation, trying to capture the eternity of the current moments. She is also no stranger to working with dancers, having been one of the key figures in the creation of URFORM audiovisual dance performance.

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
