Nosaj Thing, aka Los Angeles native Jason Chung, has been actively releasing music and performing as a DJ and producer for over 15 years, from his first shows at DTLA DIY venue The Smell in the early 2000s, to opening for The xx and The Weeknd, to headlining sensational events with visual collabs like Bureau Cool and Daito Manabe.

Having produced tracks by artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi and Juliana Barwick, Nosaj Thing has worked with a cross-generational roster of artists including Philip Glass, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Flying Lotus. However, Nosaj Thing pushes beyond genres and inspirations on his EPs and albums, pushing experimental music into an otherworldly, atmospheric and robust body of work: the Views / Octopus EP (2006), Drift (2009), Home (2013), Fated (2015), No Reality EP (2016), Parallels (2017) and No Mind (2020).
After founding Timetable Records in 2013, the multi-disciplinary artist has produced music for films, fashion shows and art installations. In 2020, Chung signed a deal with LUCKYME Records, with whom he released his latest album, Continua, in autumn 2022.
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
