Taiga Peer / Ben T Kadar @ Fülesbagoly Trip
The Fülesbagoly Trip is a series of concerts organised by the Fülesbag owl Foundation at the Turbina Cultural Centre. The monthly evenings will feature pairs of finalists from the last seven seasons of the Fülesbagoly Talent Show. The Owl Trip kicks off on 19 January with Taiga Peer and Ben T Kadar.

Schedule
Taiga Peer was for a long time a one-man studio project, but at the end of 2022, by a happy coincidence, it took on live orchestral form. The progpop band is characterised by elements of shoegazing, new wave and psychedelic rock, its songs are loose, irregular, bouncy and undulating. "It's not about changing the world, it's more about changing the world in an optimistic and hedonistic way, smiling from the corner." The band currently has five members, Péter Ágai on guitar, Ferenc Ágai on bass, Ádám Dénes on keyboards, Gábor Bartos on guitar and Gyuri Baté on drums.
Ben T Kadar is a singer/songwriter and music producer from Budapest. He creates in the genres of electronic pop and alternative hip-hop, combining elements of lo-fi and trap. His re-debut album Brute was released in February this year.
The album deals with the theme of being a young man and shows the everyday life of a hot-headed boy with distorted synthesizers and sometimes raw, sometimes melodic vocals. The project's live act formation played at several Hungarian festivals this summer and in the autumn they were the only Hungarian act to perform at the Croatian SHIP showcase festival. Ben 2024 is preparing an EP, the first song of which will be released the day before the concert, so the Turbina audience will be the first to hear it live.
