A Gecó és a Fa

Gecó and Fa belong to the weasel family. They spend most of their lives at altitude, to which they are particularly well adapted. Like raccoons, Geco and Fa have a remarkable manipulative ability that rivals that of primates. Geco and Fa have a short, furry, fully retractable tail (like some New World monkeys), which they use as a 'fifth hand' when climbing. Their tails are not used to grasp food. They can rotate their ankle and leg 180°, which makes it easier for them to run backwards on tree branches and climb headfirst down trees. The scent glands near their mouth, throat and abdomen help Gecko and Tree mark their territory and routes. Gecko and Tree sleep and groom each other in family units.
