Schedule

Although no two albums are alike, the first decade of his solo career, which began in the late 2000s, was typically about a noisy, psychedelic garage sound and these albums have now elevated Ty Segall to cult status. Now, however, the Ty Segall era, which began in 2018 with the double album Freedom's Goblin and has been renewed album by album, seems to be taking shape. And last year's folky Hello, Hi and the mysterious, joyously unpredictable Three Bells, the 15th studio album released in January this year, are almost a nod towards catchy, lovely harmonies. Ty Segall has said of Three Bells that it's the loudest possible outgrowth of his solo, acoustic guitar songs. Hello, Hi and Three Bells will undoubtedly become highlights of the discography in the long run. So Ty Segall has been flourishing as a songwriter in recent years, and on the last Sunday of summer 2024, we can experience his personal magic in Budapest, where he is expected to play his songs stripped down to single string acoustic guitar, drawing from his entire oeuvre.

Location

Akvárium

As they describe themselves, it is Budapest's most frequented venue, which is also multifunctional. Akvárium is great for award ceremonies, afternoon coffees and, most importantly, concerts, thanks to the well-picked, cross-genre selection.
