Barabás Lőrinc Quartet
Trumpet player and composer Lőrinc Barabás has been a key player and driving force in the improvisational music scene in Budapest for nearly two decades. Since 2007, he has released twelve albums with his various bands and as a solo artist, regularly touring throughout Europe and the United States.

Schedule
The Barabás Lőrinc Quartet was formed in 2015 because Lőrinc was missing the team spirit he was used to in Eklektric. After two major albums, the quartet was completely replaced in 2021 with a new line-up and sound. The album "Open" is more experimental than the previous ones, more reminiscent in style and sound of Miles Davis' records from the 70s and Erik Truffaz' early albums. The stylistic traits that we have known him for - his penchant for regular, repetitive forms, his insight, his pure simplicity, his play with a wide range of styles - are still evident, but the album is definitely a new chapter in the band's musical life. At the concert on 22 March, Áron Tálas will replace permanent drummer Ádám Klausz.
Akvárium
As they describe themselves, it is Budapest's most frequented venue, which is also multifunctional. Akvárium is great for award ceremonies, afternoon coffees and, most importantly, concerts, thanks to the well-picked, cross-genre selection.
