Lord is a hard rock/heavy metal band from Szombathely, founded in 1972 by Ferenc Vida, Ernő Sipőcz, László Papp and István Sütő. They recorded their first album in 1985 in Austria. In the late 1980s they gained popularity among Hungarian rock fans with singer Mihály Pohl.
