Their latest album, Let It Go, released at the end of last year, owes its charm to the bandleader's compositions: a wealth of distinctive melodic lines, sensitive harmonization, and individual shaping, matched by the high level of musicianship from all three players. Their greatest strength is accessibility, which they keep intact even at their most refined. The album's central themes are missed and squandered chances, the choice to own or release a decision, and the limits and limitlessness of freedom found in music.
