Between August 20 and 22, a new chapter will begin in the history of the STRAND Festival: two main stages of equal size will be built in ZamĂĄrdi so that the biggest celebration of Hungarian music can take place on the shores of Lake Balaton for three days.

Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe, is a dominant feature of Hungary's hydrography. Its easily warming, shallow waters make it ideal for swimming and sports, its fauna is extremely rich and its landscape of varied volcanic cones is unique in many respects.
