Crossroads – A closing guided tour with discussion | Réka Sárközy, media historian, and András Bán, art critic

This year’s National Salon of Photographic Art is not merely a retrospective, comprehensive selection of works from recent years, but also an opportunity to reflect on the direction in which the art of photography is heading in this new context. In this instalment of the guided tour series, András Bán, one of the Salon’s curators, will be in conversation with Réka Sárközy, a highly experienced media historian and head of the Historical Photograph and Interview Archive at the National Széchenyi Library, discussing changes in the nature of the image, new technologies and the archiving of photographers’ oeuvres.
