Kisterem is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Since its founding in 2006, it has grown from a small space into a defining force in the Hungarian contemporary art scene, serving as a meeting place for different generations, artistic practices, and ways of thinking, while consistently representing its artists on the domestic and international art scenes. Over the course of two decades, it has organized more than 150 solo and group exhibitions in its own spaces and at external venues, and has participated in more than 100 art fairs in Hungary and abroad.
