My wife goes on Tuesdays, I go on Fridays.” – Henry Youngman Many people have already discovered and shared profound truths about relationships, and marriage in particular, with us. Now it’s our turn! Following the success of *The Divorce Club*, we’re bringing you the play *The Marriage Club*, which aims to offer some guidance through the maze of relationship problems, in the hope that we might be able to avoid not just divorce, but the path leading to it as well. To do this, however, we need to start right from the basics. Who wouldn’t be curious about why a man and a woman interpret the same sentence differently, and how this can instantly spark a heated argument? Who hasn’t hit a brick wall because they’ve asked their partner for something so many times, yet they just haven’t fulfilled the request? What happens when, after a long marriage or relationship, the flame no longer burns as brightly? How do we get to the point, step by step, where we find ourselves caught up in the routine of everyday life instead of that intense, burning love?
