Amélie, the naive young girl, lives in Paris, in Montmartre. Her life is monotonous; she works as a waitress in a local bistro and maintains such close relationships with her neighbors that it feels like living in a small town. But one day, an unexpected turn occurs: she finds a small box in a secret corner of her apartment containing childhood mementos of the previous tenant.
