Balázs Zságer
He has been active on the domestic and international electronic music scene since the early 2000s. As the leader of Žagar, he has produced numerous studio albums and film scores, and his music has been remixed by artists such as Deadbeat, Terry Lee Brown Jr., and Vakula. In recent years, he has experimented with electronic instruments ranging from vintage analog synthesizers to modular systems and has performed at international festivals such as Live Cinema Rome, the Patchlab Art Festival, Vision of Sound London, and Synästhesie Berlin. He is the head of the Free Sequence label and a resident of the Transcendent Waves ambient event series. His first solo album, *Aqua Obscura*, was released in 2024, and his most recent album is *Eternal Beta Mode*.
His work is inspired by the boundaries between nature and technology, tranquility and chaos, and the spiritual and the synthetic. In his live performances, he builds a hypnotic, psychedelic soundscape from slowly shifting synthesizer textures, creating a meditative flow experience for his audience.
This evening will also mark the final public event of the "Fading Remanence" exhibition and the closing ceremony of the show. We look forward to seeing you at yes!
Location
Budapest
The best things to do in Budapest! Several medieval bridges connect the 2 sides of the city that give it its name: Buda and Pest. Cruising along the Danube is a great way to see Budapest in all its glory.
