“We are creating a genre that was conceived within Hungarian instrumental culture and has since set out to see the world.”

“Our band draws primarily on the musical traditions of the Carpathian Basin. At the same time, our goal is to shape folk music, café-style Gypsy music, jazz, flamenco, Latin, Balkan, and many other genres in our own image without compromising their essential essence. We achieve all this in a stage-ready format accessible to both professional and lay audiences, creating a truly great atmosphere for those seeking entertainment. We want Hungarian folk music and café Gypsy music traditions to become part of mainstream culture once again, modernized and adapted to the expectations of the times.

Our band has performed at countless venues throughout the Carpathian Basin. Notable among these are the Balatonfüred Wine Week, the Gombaszög Summer Camp, the Tusványos Festival, and the MCC Fest, where we are regular performers, but we have also given concerts at the Hungarian Academy in Rome.

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
