The evening kicks off with Kvantumhab, for whom “space-time fluctuations result in a ceaselessly swirling quantum foam, the bubbling of which gives rise to entities with mass, only for them to explode and revert to energy.” Kvantumhab is a fusion powerhouse: clever lyrics served up with free-flowing beats. STÄNK on keys, KVIKK on the mic. Blast off with us and let’s transform into energy!
Following the warm-up, Tendo bursts onto the stage to present his new album, ‘Patterns and Layers’.
Tendo is a producer and performer who writes and produces his own music, and is currently focusing on his solo project. His sound blends electronic textures, raw energy and live instrumentation.
He began performing live this year and, as one of the winners of the Hangadó mentor programme, was able to perform at the Kassa Hajó festival. Since then, she has played at the Akvárium NagyHall before Akc Misi, as well as at Pontoon and the Strand Festival.
The line-up currently features a live drummer and guitarist, with Tendo contributing on bass and vocals. Her debut album is due out soon.
Akvárium
As they describe themselves, it is Budapest's most frequented venue, which is also multifunctional. Akvárium is great for award ceremonies, afternoon coffees and, most importantly, concerts, thanks to the well-picked, cross-genre selection.
