Extraordinary guided tours at the Capturing Eternity exhibition
Discover the fascinating world of ancient Egyptian art! The exhibition, which features around 140 works of art, uses sculptures, reliefs, stelae, coffins and cult objects to show how Egyptian art served to establish a connection with the gods and the afterlife. During the guided tour, you will gain insight into the creative methods of ancient Egyptian masters, the world of materials and techniques used, and the religious and symbolic ideas that determined the creation of works made “for eternity”. Building on the museum’s rich Egyptian collection, the exhibition explores the process of creating thousands of years of artworks using the latest scientific studies and digital reconstructions, shedding new light on the art and craft culture of ancient Egypt.

Visitor information:
The full-price ticket for the program is HUF 7,700, which includes the exhibition entrance ticket and the guided tour. The discounted ticket is HUF 4,600 for all visitors who are entitled to at least a 50% discount on the exhibition.
Please arrive at the Museum of Fine Arts 20 minutes before the start of the guided tour.
Our guided tours are conducted with tourguide devices, the necessary headphones can be picked up in the Marble Hall. The headphones are disinfected after each use.
