KLIPSZEMLE DÍJÁTADÓ
This year, we’re going bigger than ever!
WHAT IS KLIPSZEMLE?
If you know, you know — so obviously, we’ll see you there. If not: the Hungarian Music Video Festival is the biggest event for Hungary’s film, music and creative industries, celebrating music videos and the people behind them for the tenth year running. And this year, we’re teaming up with the Hungarian Film Week!

WHO GOES THERE?
Over the past ten years, the Klipszemle award winners have included some of the most influential artists and creators in Hungary’s music and music video scene. This is THE ANNUAL HUNGARIAN BACKSTAGE — where everyone crosses paths, from up-and-coming rappers to cinematographers who’ve just flown home, from arena-filling pop stars to fresh graduates making their very first music video.
WHY WILL 2 0 2 6 BE SPECIAL?
It’s our anniversary year, so alongside a three-day screening of this year’s entries, we’ll also look back on the history of the past nine editions with the 10 DAYS OF KLIPSZEMLE program series, running from October 23–31:
- There’ll be an exhibition featuring some of the most outstanding music video creators of the past 10 years.
- All 202 music videos selected for this year’s competition will be screened.
- ParkLab x Klipszemle (presentations and judging of entries submitted to the music video competition).
- Klipegylet x Klipszemle professional day (roundtable discussions on music video production).
- Cinemira “kids’ music video showcase.”
- The 10th Hungarian Music Video Festival Awards Gala.
- A screening of the winning videos from the 10th Hungarian Music Video Festival + the official szemle_after party.

WHAT SHOULD I BUY A TICKET FOR?
All events in the 10 DAYS OF KLIPSZEMLE program are free, except for the 10th Hungarian Music Video Festival Awards Gala on October 29 at Akvárium Klub. By the way, the BuSH Festival will also be taking place there from October 28–30, so that’s worth checking out too!
Akvárium
As they describe themselves, it is Budapest's most frequented venue, which is also multifunctional. Akvárium is great for award ceremonies, afternoon coffees and, most importantly, concerts, thanks to the well-picked, cross-genre selection.
