All of us who are active in the club scene are well aware of just how difficult it is to launch a DJ career. It’s hard to break out of the vicious cycle where “as long as you’re unknown, there aren’t many opportunities to perform, but how can you make a name for yourself if you don’t get to play anywhere?”

NOVA aims to serve as a springboard to help overcome this problem.

With our new monthly club night, we want to provide a platform and an opportunity for new talent on the scene to showcase their skills.

DJ Reload will serve as the project’s mentor, curator, quality controller, and host.

Djáno is a rising star in the scene, but from the very beginning he’s been a steadfast fan—and later an advocate—of minimal, microhouse, and deeptech styles. Whether it’s hypnotic, moody, sun-soaked cocktail-sipping minimal or early-morning strolling minimal, Djáno always hits the nail on the head. He didn’t just start today—or even yesterday—but one thing’s for sure: you won’t hear him every weekend (yet).

DJ LAST NIGHT and EVA SORBONNE

DJ Last Night and Eva Sorbonne made the leap from behind the bar at Nemdebár to behind the turntables. Later, they occasionally showed up at Telep.

They’re regulars at the True Energy party series in the winter—and sometimes in the summer.

Their sets are best described as eclectic, a sound they’ve honed together over the years into a unique style.
