Darkways is a goth rock, darkwave, and post-punk duo from Barcelona, Spain. Their debut album, *Resonance* (late 2024), received widespread critical acclaim, which led the band to tour across Europe in 2025 with numerous sold-out shows and appearances at major festivals, including the Wave-Gotik-Treffen, Der Schwarze Ball, Castle Party, Santuario, and Ombra... sharing the stage with legendary bands such as the Sisters of Mercy, Kite, VNV Nation, French Police, and many others...
The duo creates a captivating musical landscape where darkwave roots blend with the nostalgic spirit of vintage goth rock and immersive electronic textures. Their sound is both atmospheric and energetic, drawing listeners into a world of shadowy melodies and driving rhythms.
The duo debuted in late 2024 with the EP *Neon Lights*, which laid the groundwork for their first full-length album, *Resonance* (2024), a record that brought unprecedented success to the Barcelona-based project. Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
