Vannak vidékek – Bogdán Zsolt és a Kaláka együttes Kányádi–estje

For the musicians of Kaláka, ‘Uncle’ Sándor was not only a composer, he also served as a crucial friend and spiritual leader for decades – and his art continues to resonate in their songs today. At this fully staged literary event, the evocative performance style of Cluj-Napoca-based actor Zsolt Bogdán and the iconic musical settings of Kaláka will combine to create a new, dramatic unity. Along with Valaki jár a fák hegyén (‘Somebody Walks Atop the Trees’) and Két nyárfa (‘Two Poplar Trees’), we will hear memories of shared journeys and other indispensable pieces from Kányádi’s oeuvre come to life. This evening promises a profound and uplifting encounter of music and poetry.
