Do you know Szívbajt, the “Salvador Dalí of the homeless,” and his daily struggle with the primroses at the Havanna housing project? Or Uncle János, who almost took a drill home from Spár—in his shinbone? Or Mr. Andor, whom I met between the train wheels while he was humming Péter Máté’s song?
If not, I’d love to see you at my stand-up show.
I originally trained as a history teacher, but I’ve always felt that my calling was emergency medical care—I’ve been working as a paramedic for 25 years. Starting this September, I’ll be continuing as a paramedic.
In my show, I draw on real-life cases and behind-the-scenes stories from the world of emergency medicine, with a clearly educational purpose. A strong stomach and well-trained abdominal muscles are highly recommended.
And during the show, I’m the only one who can call an ambulance.
