Mike (Frank Dillane) is working hard to change his life. He has recently been released, his job and home are sometimes or not, but if he could overcome the diabolical desire for self-destruction, he might even reach his destination on the narrow path leading to prosperity.
Harris Dickinson's (The Triangle of Sadness, Good Girl, Iron Claw) directorial debut is a poetic and absurd vision of the outskirts of London. Through the everyday lives of useless petty characters, it authentically tells a story of self-destruction and dignity, sometimes tragicomic, sometimes dramatic conflicts and parade performances. Frank Dillane (Fear the Walking Dead, Harvest) excels in the title role, winning the Best Actor award in the Un Certain Regard section of this year's Cannes Film Festival.
