KOIKOI (SRB)

KOIKOI’s music blends indie rock, post-punk, electronic music, and pop with unbridled energy, danceable rhythms, and exciting male-female vocal harmonies. In recent years, they have performed across Europe, including on the stages of the Fusion Festival, EXIT, INmusic, and the Reeperbahn Festival. In 2023, they were named one of Europe’s 15 most promising up-and-coming bands at the Music Moves Europe Awards.

Siketfajd

The band never knows exactly where it’s headed, but it points the way with uncompromising clarity. A whirlwind that only wants to sweep you in, not to serve. A tight medley of shattering guitars, crackling drums, and fragments of lyrics. We build on the uninhibited spirit of punk music.

Máté Gerdesits – bass guitar

Ábel Horváth – guitar, vocals

Gergő Sebők – clown, vocals

Szabolcs Sziládi – drums

Hocuspony

Garage rock energy, Hungarian lyrics, raw energy, strange imagery, and that slightly surreal, summery buzz that captures the sweat of the rehearsal room, the clamor of teenage memories, and a wild festival dawn all at once.

Hocuspony’s music doesn’t really want to play by the rules: sometimes it’s gritty, sometimes playful, sometimes quite personal, yet there’s always an instinctive sense of freedom running through it. These are songs that don’t over-explain themselves; they simply pull you into a world of their own, where garage rock, punk-inspired outbursts, and the sensibility of the Hungarian underground converge.

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
