Mocskonyi Dörgő released his debut full-length album in 2023. He reached a wider national audience with his song “Most is ott a parton”, which made it to the final of MTVA’s A Dal 2023, and has been played on radio stations across Hungary. He has appeared on stages of several domestic and international festivals, as well as in TV shows, and has received awards such as the “Újfalussy Gábor Award for Outstanding Musical Talent” and the “Best Songwriter” award at the Fülesbagoly talent competition Budapest final.
The members of EDGAR are Dr. Stayer Edgar (vocals, guitar), Bence Makhajda (bass guitar, vocals), Barnabás Monostory (electric guitar), and Mihály Manga (drums). The EDGAR formation truly came into its own last year, with 9 released songs, including “Hazahúz”, which became the theme song of the Fiatal, Szívvel – Magyarország Ifjúsági Fővárosa 2026 program on M2 Petőfi TV. Their song “Veled utazom” is a positive, upbeat Hungarian track that reminds us not to forget to switch off sometimes and enjoy life’s small beautiful moments even in the rush of everyday life.
