A Vakuviharban című kiállítás megnyitó eseménye

Twenty years ago, photographers working for the era’s online party portals professionally documented the golden age of Budapest’s club scene, creating the genre of party photography—which has since become almost an archaeological artifact. Alongside the mass-produced “trash” photos of the era, our pop-up exhibition evokes the nightlife atmosphere of the 2000s through the sophisticated photographs of Balázs Glódi. Party photography is a valuable snapshot of its time, emerging at the intersection of the post-communist club scene, digital photography, and the democratization of the internet.
