Since this season turned out to be one without either PEN or Fishing, we figured we’d throw our own party—we couldn’t let spring in Pécs go by without KACAJ!
About us:
KACAJ is a Pécs-based folk-pop band that launched in 2020. What makes them special is that they cover a wide range not only in terms of age but also across musical genres. From alternative rock to hip-hop, the band’s sound incorporates numerous stylistic elements, all tied together by Hungarian folk music. Their goal: to make our folk music treasures as widely loved and listened to as possible, thereby reaching younger generations as well. Their songs are born in a progressive yet pop-infused style, taking the form of joyful music. Their energetic, rural vibe guarantees a rousing concert experience.
