On August 7, one of the most distinctive and versatile artists of the Hungarian contemporary music scene, Frenk, arrives at Bánya Kert.
For more than two decades, Frenk has been a defining figure in Hungarian music. His sound blends rock, pop, funk, jazz, classical influences, and chanson elements into a unique musical universe that is entirely his own. His songs are energetic yet sensitive, playful yet melancholic, always carrying the honesty and sense of freedom that define his artistry.
He first gained recognition in the underground scene as a member of Hiperkarma, and since 2007 he has also been a regular vocalist with Budapest Bár. With his own band, he has been touring the country since 2005, released nine studio albums, and is currently working on his tenth.
The natural atmosphere of Bánya Kert in Salföld provides the perfect setting for this special summer evening concert.
