Sitmob | Tálas – Klausz

Áron Tálas and Ádám Klausz’s unconventional keyboard-and-drums duo brilliantly blends the pulsating grooves of modern hip-hop, funk and drum’n’bass with the harmonies and melodies of jazz. The group was born out of the idea of busking, with the underlying aim of bringing this kind of music to people they would otherwise probably never have encountered. Pianist and drummer Áron Tálas, alongside countless other projects, has demonstrated – both at the Borbély Műhely and in his own trio – that professional expertise and mischievous humour do not cancel each other out but rather reinforce one another in the creative process, whilst Ádám Klausz has proven his versatility and open-mindedness as the drummer for, amongst others, Co Lee and the Nagy Emma Quintet.
