Animal Cannibals

Animal Cannibals need no introduction to the public, the duo, who have been around since the late eighties, have been pioneers in many areas of domestic hip hop, and their achievements could be listed for days. Suffice to say that their releases have sold over 1 million copies on CD, cassette and vinyl. In 1996, they created the Fila Rap Jam, a series of events that gave young rap and hip hop musicians the opportunity to showcase themselves. The competition became extremely popular, and after five sold-out shows at Petőfi Hall and three FRJ CDs, the last one was held in 2000. The cannibals continue to place a high priority on talent scouting, and the Rap Jams were followed by the Hip Hop Mission, Radio Deejay Microphone Mania, It's Rite! talent shows, the Roots And Routes project, Offline Battle and the Czech Tamás Programme.

The Animal Cannibals write their own lyrics and music, and have also written lyrics for a number of other bands, and rap live on stage. Their constant helper and musical mastermind is Balázs Deseő dBalage. He will also be on stage at this concert, playing keyboards, and there will also be DJ Pozsi, bassist Andor Kopasz, vocalist Éva Gergely and two wind players, Murad Abbas on the trombone and Bence Táborszky on the trumpet.
