"Music happy, lyrics dope" is perhaps the best way to describe the songs of indie/pop-rock band Girlhood, who debuted this spring. The all-girl line-up mainly sing about heartbreak, casual relationships and the difficulties of growing up, life and mental health, sometimes with playful synths and sometimes with punky guitars.
