Fiesta

The Fiesta, a Latin-style Hungarian band.

The two members of the band, Tamás Knapik and Tibor Csordás, have known each other for a long time. At the beginning of their careers they both played rock music in different bands. In the 90s, Tamás played in a saloon band on a Caribbean boat and lived for a long time in Puerto Rico, where he got to know the Latin melodic world. After moving back to Hungary, he approached Tibor Csordás with the request to form the band Fiesta. Tibor was very impressed with the sound material he had brought from abroad, so it was not difficult to persuade him to continue playing together. Their aim is to make traditional Latin American music popular in our country, blending it with contemporary popular trends, as so many others have already done in the international music scene.
