Gentry Sultan

The Gentry Sultan is a fresh spin-off of the legendary Pop Ivan mythos, and is made up of its founding members. The four-piece's music is a fusion, both in content and sound, of their former selves' specifically romantic, unmistakable formal world, the traditions of free-jazz, orientalism and the elemental, ever-changing present of contemporary music. The Gentry Sultan's avant-garde opens its doors wide to ambient, punk, folk, shramli and noise, and continues to play music for eternity, obeying its own internal laws.
