Szélműves

The Windmaker is one of the most exciting representatives of the fanfare Balkan lifestyle in Hungary. The core of their music is Moldavian Csángó folk music, spiced up with south-eastern European Romanian, Gypsy and Jewish melodies and their own ideas. A swirling cavalcade of life-giving tight rhythms, crisp tuba accompaniment and drifting brass melodies, dressed up with harmonica and cobos, crowned with female vocals. An ancient topicality, a modern sound with a respect for musical roots, which will stand the test of time, whatever the age.

Their first single "Virradó" was released this year on Denagyvilág Records.

They have toured four countries, festivals, city events, village fairs, clubs, performed at the Hungarian House of Music, prestigious festivals and several times at the Fonó Buda Music Hall.

Wherever the wind blows them, they are a joy!
