Kaptza is a young Hungarian folk ensemble hailing from the areas around Somorja and Sopron. Comprised of scholarship‑supported emerging folk musicians, they blend traditional Hungarian melodies and rhythms with a vibrant, creative modern approach. They’ve performed in dance houses, festivals, and clubs both in Hungary and the USA.

Rooted in authentic folk traditions, Kaptza’s music delivers fresh, energetic arrangements with a contemporary sensibility.
