Cinka trió

Cinka Trió is a young Hungarian folk-music trio formed in 2021 by Radna Lászlófi, Noémi Thoma, and Borbála Töreky, students of the folk music department at the Liszt Academy in Budapest. In February 2024, they released their debut album, Lányságról, featuring Hungarian folk adaptations, original compositions, and musical settings of Petőfi poems. Each member plays multiple folk instruments—cimbalom, koboz, flute, tambura—and collaborates on song arrangements. The album explores emotions tied to young womanhood—melancholy, solitude, love, and the contradictions of growing up.
