Gedeon Reflects

Gedeon Reflects, the band of “engineers traveling from lyricism to hard rock,” has existed since the autumn of 2022. They are diverse: their songs span from acoustic, lyrical, melodic lines to hard rock, but also incorporate elements of alternative, progressive, folk, and fusion music. Their strengths are often highlighted as exciting, multifaceted dynamic musical ideas, polyphony, a deep singing voice, profound lyrics, and strong team unity.

In April 2023, they released their first album, Sokszor érzed úgy (“You Often Feel That Way”), featuring several guest performers on cello, piano, and vocals. They also organized an album release concert, which was an unforgettable experience for both them and their audience of about 200 people.

The band’s second album, Előtted áll (“It Stands In Front Of You”), was released in May 2025. Its soundscape ranges from acoustic, lyrical melodies to modern alternative rock, enriched with prog and metal influences. The songs are characterized by rich instrumentation and thought-provoking lyrics. The album was premiered at a large-scale concert at the Muzikum, creating lasting memories for both the audience and the band.

Their lyrics are mostly thought-provoking, reflecting on many aspects of life, and they reveal deep emotions, moods, and inner worlds. Among their songs, some are more melodic while others carry darker tones, but at their core, there is always the intention of conveying a positive message.
