In Hungary, the things that have been happening in the new wave rap scene over the last half decade are clearly the things that are most easily picked up by the listener. Terribly unique sounds, outrageous characters, trap-pop-hyperpop-boombap arcs are coming together, bands are springing up, some are filling up the bigger venues to capacity, others are attracting serious followings in cult Facebook groups that speak irony in their native tongue. Life is doing its thing: it's happening.

Geri Lusta is part of this broader company: he has worked as a producer with Krubi, Beton.Hofi, Lil Frak, Csaba Szendrői (Elefánt) - and he is also the co-creator of 6363, with whom he produced the album METAMATIKA - and after countless feats and work in Lusta Bítek, he has released his first four-song solo material, the Sajt EP, on ASAN.
