Perszephoné

Orlik Noémi, also known as Perszephoné, studied classical music as a child and has been creating music since the age of 14. Her artistic work is deeply interested in transcendence, questions of faith and existence, and the depths of the subconscious. Through her music, she explores femininity, womanhood, and the wounds that come with it, placing them within a darker, otherworldly sonic landscape.

Her sound is influenced by new-wave artists such as Crim3s and Crystal Castles, while her lyrics draw inspiration from the abstract writing of the Hungarian underground scene of the 1980s, particularly Mihály Vígh and his contemporaries.
