Manir

Manír was founded in Debrecen in 2019 as a civil initiative. Its aim is to provide an open, inclusive platform for talented, often marginalized, musical and visual artists who have little opportunity for visibility. The organization helps those who, despite their qualities, do not have access to adequate resources or institutional support. It also operates as a community and organizing workshop, providing a space for young people who want to create in cultural organization but do not find enough inspiring environments in Debrecen. Manír supports experimentation, collaborations and new cultural initiatives as an alternative space, strengthening local cultural life and less visible young creatives.
