School of Disobedience

School of Disobedience is an artistic ecosystem built by Anna Ádám, currently taking the form of a school, a residency, and a festival.

An independent artist-run school for artists who want to:

1. Build the practice: step outside aesthetic patterns, inherited languages, and automatisms that don’t serve the process anymore. Learn to trust your own material, methods, obsessions, contradictions, and ways of thinking. Learn to hear your work better: its own language, with its own accent. Learn to see your work better: its own structure, its own cracks. And yourself behind it.

Build ways for a practice to exist without depending entirely on institutions, open calls, invitations, and other people’s decisions. Depending less. Waiting less.
