Scandinavian house

The Scandinavian House Foundation, established in 2003, aims to promote Scandinavian culture, values and lifestyle in Hungary and to strengthen the relations between Hungary and the Scandinavian countries.

Our main activities are cultural and educational programmes (concerts, film screenings, language clubs, book presentations, lectures, children's programmes, etc.) and language courses, but we also publish the Nordic Scandinavian magazine and books by Ø Publishing.

Our staff consists of volunteers and trainees and our work is overseen by our international board of trustees. We work closely with the Scandinavian embassies and other actors in the cultural life of Budapest.
