Hortobágy

The Hortobágy National Park is the largest and oldest national park in Hungary, and in the eyes of many it is the essence of Hungary, synonymous with the Hungarian wilderness. Hortobágy is a World Heritage Site, offering visitors a wide range of attractions from bush carriage rides, horse riding, cycling, small train rides, a wildlife park and a bird hospital.
