The Gerbeaud legend began with Henrik Kugler when he opened his confectionery in Budapest 165 years ago. Later, he met Émile Gerbeaud in Paris and – in the absence of a successor – invited him to Budapest as a future business partner, who took over the confectionery in 1884. The name Gerbeaud became internationally well-known and celebrated. The years and centuries come and go, but a trip to Gerbeaud has meant a splendid journey in flavour through all ages, to people of all ages. Collect culinary memories in elegant surroundings, at round marble tables while enjoying cakes, coffee or light dishes and taking pleasure in the sweet life of Budapest!
