Deák Étterem

The Deák Restaurant is a landmark, a landmark establishment in Sopron's Deák Square, the longest square in Central Europe. Built in 1891 by the architect Antal Ullein, the house on the corner of Deák tér and Erzsébet utca served as an entertainment venue for the youth of Sopron and a lasting memory for the older generation.

In 2011, the owners, keeping with tradition, renovated the restaurant and the popular garden area. The owners have paid tribute to the memory of the great patriot by renovating the statue of Ferenc Deák and placing it on the building.
