29th Mineral Show in the Lurdy Ház Shopping Center 12-13-14 April
April has just begun and it is a good time for fun festivities! Let us call your attention to a wonderful upcoming event next weekend, to the 29th Lelkes Mineral Show in the Lurdy Ház from the 12th till the 14th of April! This event will bring joy to everyone who visits this fair! Here, the vibrations of the minerals and the radiance of the vendors make the event unique. 200 domestic and foreign exhibitors await you on 3,000 square meters. It is worth coming to the show with family and friends! Everyone will find something interesting and special they have never seen before! There will be polished mineral beads on strings, readymade jewellery and fossils as well!
Besides wandering around and purchasing goods, we would like to recommend you several excellent programs that may interest both adults and children:
Our main attraction this year is the really popular Mini Geological Days where children can spend time getting to know geology from a different aspect through amazing experiments! All our programs will be available on Saturday and Sunday!

- Interactive geological playhouses and presentations for children
- a 3D slide show of the underworld of caves “Amazonia - caves under the primeval forest”
- you can get to know and pet snakes (not venomous ones!)
- Gemstone definition (bring your jewellery with you to check if it’s fake or real!)
- lectures on geological topics for everyone to understand
-Gold panning (we will show you the technique of gold panning with some hidden treasures!)
- Creative playhouse for children (sand painting, pebble sculpturing)
- Face painting, henna and glitter tattoos
- NEW!! Lucky-Tree making using polished Mineral beads
Programs mostly for adults:
- At the show the candidates for "Mineral of the Year 2024" will be presented and you can listen to interesting lectures
- There will be an exhibition and a gripping lecture on the new meteorite findings in January of this year, in Ribbeck - Germany!
- Lectures on spirituality and self-knowledge
- DIY Workshops: candle making/ black walnut medal carving/jewellery making
In addition to the mineral and jewelry fair, the event also includes a “Health Island” where there will be products and services related to a healthy lifestyle and spirituality.
