Sztorigami - S03E04

At the start of the performance, five story threads will be launched, and then you and the rest of the audience will vote on which four to continue. One story thread will be eliminated, four will continue, and then you can vote again to decide which three will remain. Each round one is eliminated - and in the end it's decided which one will be the story of the evening... The continuations are far from chronological: we might put a prequel on stage or show what happened the next day at the scene of the previous scene. Objects come to life, previous side characters take centre stage, we jump effortlessly in space and time.

It's OK not to be a fan like everyone else - there's no right or wrong, but complex, real characters populate our stories, to love, hate or pity. The fate of a character depends on our (and the director's!) momentary, sometimes reassuringly predictable, sometimes maddeningly unexpected decisions. The platonic lovers don't always work out, and sometimes even the grandmother is left in the belly of the wolf. Because on stage, we want to show how things could really turn out.

But you can be sure that you'll see stories that you really want to see continue. Real characters, relatable emotions, complex motivations. A cavalcade of genres, from horror to fairy tales to chamber dramas. Love, lust for power, murder. Life-changing moments of ordinary people in front of the Lidl cash register or talking crickets who start a revolution. Stories that bring patterns to chaos - or even chaos to order. But they are real within their own framework.
