Eurydice is now exiled to the hell of our contemporary world. Of course, her lover, the famous singer of Greek mythology, follows her there, but Orpheus, despite his understanding of the language of animals, is inexplicable to the world, and the inventor of lyricism becomes both clumsy and helpless - he has no strength to confront the worldview of the 21st century.
He tries to conform to the new tastes of Eurydice. But Orpheus cannot deny himself: his inner rhythm, which is essentially slower than that of the woman he loves, is completely different from his own, and cannot find harmony with the everyday life of his changed love. Their love, thought to be immortal, even surviving death, is threatened. The happy, timeless slowness becomes meaningless in the transience and speed of the present.
